Ane Viana Salinas

Professor of law and criminology at EHU and researcher at the Basque Criminology Institute

Ane Viana Salinas holds a doctorate in Human Rights, Public and Private Law from the University of the Basque Country (EHU). Her research work has focused primarily on the field of childhood and adolescence in vulnerable circumstances, with special attention to migrant childhood and adolescence. She has also conducted research related to social exclusion, human rights, victimisation and victim narratives.

She is currently a researcher at the Basque Criminology Institute and lectures in the Law Faculty of the University of the Basque Country (EHU), where she teaches courses linked to criminology, including juvenile delinquency, victimisation and criminal policy.
