Employment Adviser at the Bilbao Mazarredo local Lanbide office.

A psychologist by training, in the social sphere by vocation, I have worked for about twenty years in the third sector in Bizkaia, both as a social educator and as a social/employment adviser. I have also been involved in training, supporting work placements in Social Education and training future advisers in long-ago schemes like Lanera. Taking this chance to slip in a question, when will we see a degree in Social/Employment Guidance?

From late 2011 she joined the Administration, at Lanbide, immediately returning to guidance, first at Lanbide Mungia and since 2016 at Lanbide Mazarredo, where the opportunity arose for her to take part in the mixed projects Gizakia and Elkar Hobetzen. The idea at the latter is to carry on providing the service through comprehensive support for the single mothers taking part, in coordination with the Administration (Lanbide - Basic Social Services at Bilbao City Council) and the third sector (specifically Gaztaroa – Sartu).
