Joan Uribe Vilarrodona

Executive Director of Hospitality Europe

Doctor of Social Anthropology and associate lecturer in this department at the University of Barcelona, teaching the subject course on Anthropology of Social Exclusion. He has also published and taken part in research on homelessness; social services systems and social control, among other topics.

He has pursued his career as a director or manager of social services, both in the voluntary sector and in the public administration. He recently headed the European Social Fund department at "la Caixa" Foundation and is currently executive director of Hospitality Europe, a non-profit institution at European level working in the areas of social exclusion, disability, geriatric psychiatry, health and mental health.
