Francesco Fasani

Full Professor in Economics at the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods of the University of Milan “Statale” He was previously employed at Queen Mary - University of London, the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and the Institute for Economic Analysis (IAE-CSIC). He is a Research Fellow at CEPR (Centre for Economic Policy Research), CReAM (Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration), Rockwool Foundation – Berlin and IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor). His main research interests are in Labour Economics, Applied Microeconometrics, and Economics of Migration and of Crime and his work has been published in leading economics journals. He has acted as a consultant on migration issues for major international organizations such as European Commission, European Parliament, IADB, WB, IOM.
