Eva Domaika

Born in 1969 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, she graduated in Information Science from the UPV-EHU. She began her career as a journalist in 1989 at the newspaper GAUR EXPRESS. She went on to be Vitoria correspondent for DIARIO YA, while also working for DEIA. In 1991 she moved into radio, the medium in which she is still working today. She has worked for broadcasters including Radio Vitoria, Radio Euskadi, Cadena COPE, Radio Correo, and in recent years at Cadena SER. In 2009 she took of the management of content for Cadena SER broadcasters in the Basque autonomous community. Since 2023 she has been back at SER Vitoria as head of news. At the last Ondas awards in November 2024, she won the joint prize for best local radio programme for ‘La ventana de la memoria’.
