Begoña San Miguel

With a degree in Business Studies from the UPV-EHU (Sarriko), in 1993 she joined the family firm OJA-REM, whose business is making dies and cold heading, primarily for the automotive industry, as financial manager. Since 2013 she has been chief executive of the company.

She has been on the executive committee of FVEM since 2020, taking on the presidency in 2023. Begoña is also vice-president of Confemetal and Cebek, as well as playing a part in the governing bodies of Confebask, Innobasque and the Chamber of Commerce. In 2019 she won the AED prize, in recognition of her work and her career, in particular her contribution to bringing women into the business fabric in Bizkaia province.
