Gloria Rendón

Consultant specialising in migration governance and reception systems (Global Migrat) and lecturer on the inter-university master's degree in Contemporary Migrations (UAB-UB).

Gloria Elena Rendón Toro is an anthropologist and consultant specialising in migration governance and reception systems (https://www.globalmigrat.com) with over 20 years of experience in the design, implementation and assessment of public policy and services.

She worked at Barcelona city council, where she coordinated SAIER and led its redesign, as well as designing and implementing the Family Reunification Programme. In the Basque Country, she has supported the operationalisation, implementation and assessment of the Basque reception model in Bilbao and advised Getxo town council on the design and reinforcement of its municipal reception system.

She is an assistant lecturer on the inter-university master's degree in Contemporary Migrations (UAB-UB) and is currently working on a doctorate in Sociology at the UAB.
