Dolores Morondo Taramundi

Lecturer at the University of Deusto

Dolores Morondo Taramundi is a senior lecturer in the faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the University of Deusto and member of its Human Rights Institute. She previously worked as a researcher and lecturer at the faculty of Law at the University of Urbino (Italy).

She gained a doctorate in law at the European University Institute in Fiesole (2003) with a thesis devoted to the dilemma of difference in the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union. She has taught courses on the philosophy of law, history and philosophy of human rights and international protection of human rights.

She is a member of the European Commission's network of legal experts on equality and non-discrimination. Her main fields of research and publication are anti-discrimination law, critical theories of law, human rights and legal methodology.
