Document of Conclusions
The delegates to the IV World Congress of Basque Communities, “Zubigintzan” (building bridges) have passed a Document of Conclusions that the Advisory Council of Basque Communities takes into account in order to elaborate the Four Year Plan 2008-2011.
The Document of Conclusions includes a myriad of 56 measures directed towards the maintenance of the actuations to recuperate the historic memory and continue with the Urazandi Collection, the digitalization of magazines published by the diaspora as well as the project “Basques in the American press”. Furthermore, it establishes the development of new technologies in order to facilitate relations among and with the Basque Communities, and encourages those involved to include changes in some dispositions that regulate the programs of the Basque Government, in order to make them more effective for the needs of the diaspora.
