The carving of the hindquarters, short tail, back legs and ventral line of this 10 cm long ibex is deep. The rest - wither, neck, head, eye and horns - is very fine, so that is difficult to see. On the abdomen there is a deeply-carved area which may represent the typical dark patch on these animals.
