Arnstein Aassve

Arnstein Aassve is a renowned social scientist specialising in demography, sociology, economics and political science, with an extensive track record in academic and institutional leadership.

A professor at Bocconi University since 2007, he has served as Dean of the Undergraduate School, Director of doctoral programmes and member of key strategic committees, contributing to the university’s internationalisation process.

He has led major EU-funded projects, including an ERC Advanced Grant, an ERC Starting Grant and the Horizon Europe FutuRes project, and has advised international organisations such as the European Commission and the OECD.
