His main fields of research are 3D technology applied to cultural and historical heritage, as well as data science and artificial intelligence applied to business and tourism

He has been Deputy Director of Entrepreneurship at the University of Granada (2016-2020)

He is the director of the Joint International Postgraduate Course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in BioHealth, as well as coordinator of the European BioAll project, in which this postgraduate course has been designed

He is a member of the board of directors of the Spanish section of Eurographics (European Association for Computer Graphics), as well as a member of the research team of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in the province of Granada
