TESA Access Control

TESA Access Control is a security system that allows for managing each and every door in a building from the same management platform. This system is characterised by allowing the combination of different technologies and going beyond access control, with a tailored solution for each door combining security and convenience, design and functionality.

Specifically, it enables knowing who is entering, where and when, allows or refuses access, manages users, registers events and automatically cancels any lost or stolen key.

This is possible thanks to the possibility of integrating mechanical cylinders, electronic cylinders and electronic locks in the same system. The control unit, the clutching mechanism and the battery module are located in the inside cover of the electronic lock. The batteries are in the key of the cylinder. Furthermore, the cylinder is compatible with any type of Euro profile mortise lock, and the lock can be installed in a large range of door handles.

TESA Access Control offers the complete flexibility of selecting and managing different types of technologies for user identification such as magnetic stripe cards, Smartair data (contactless chip technology), dual cards (Smartair and magnetic stripe) and electronic keys using the same software.

This system, which includes different security levels, is characterised by its easy installation and management.

The elements necessary for managing the system are TS1000 software, a portable programmer, an electronic key recorder, a magnetic stripe card editor, a Smartair editor and an authorisation key.

Furthermore, all the information is encrypted and all the communications are encoded, thus preventing fraudulent copies of data to be made and providing the system with complete security.

The aforementioned product is part of a catalogue published by the Society for Industrial Promotion and Restructuring (S.P.R.I. in its Spanish acronym). The catalogue compiles the main industrial products from Basque companies that have become 'internationally renowned' and are 'global leaders within their sectors'.
The publication 'Basque Country, A World Class Industry' gathers the activities of a total of 121 Basque corporations and institutions.

This compilation, though tiny, is a quite significant example of the wide range of INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED BASQUE INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS that corporations in this country design, develop and produce, and that comply with the expectations and needs of clients around the world.
