Barandiaran's work revealed the natural entrance to the cave, which lay close to the artificial opening created during quarrying.

During the work, a pit was made near the natural entrance to the cave, uncovering an archaeological site. The pits dug next to the figures did not give positive results. However, under the groups of figures I and II a tip and a scraper, both made of flint, were found.
