Throughout June, the Basque Youth Observatory organised three courses as part of its 2023 training plan
In June, the Basque Youth Observatory held three editions of the course "Managing Anxiety and Emotional Distress: Tools for Working with Young People". The main objective of this training was to promote the learning of strategies among professionals working with young people.
Ernesto Gutierrez Crespo has conducted the courses. He is a Psychologist and pedagogue, President of the Basque Association of Psychopedagogy and collaborating lecturer at the University of Deusto and the University of the Basque Country.
77 people attended and the distribution by professional profile was as follows:
- 72 % were people working in formal education, such as guidance counsellors and teachers.
- The others were people working in the youth field (staff of youth information offices, city councils, county councils and youth associations, socio-educational intervention teams and other entities).
