Bilbao Fine Arts Museum
Featuring diverse artworks from an extensive chronological period, the collection at Bilbao Fine Arts Museum currently contains 8,000 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, engravings and decorative arts, dating from the 12th century to the present day.
Ancient, modern and contemporary art, paintings from the Spanish and Flemish schools and pieces by Basque artists are all present in the collection.
Of particular prominence are works by Adolfo Guiard, Ambrosius Benson, Anton Van Dyck, Antoni Tàpies, Antonio Moro, Aurelio Arteta, Bartolomé Bermejo, Chilliza, Oteiza, El Greco, Zuloaga, Sorolla, Goya, Francis Bacon and Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, among many others.
