FICOBA

Ficoba, the Gipuzkoa Fairground, opened its doors in Irun in 2003 with its sight set on becoming the European Union's first cross-border fairground. Located in the heart of the so-called Basque Eurocity that spans from Bayona to Donostia-San Sebastián, Ficoba is the perfect setting for local SMEs to exhibit their products and develop trade relations. The fairground facilities cover an area of over 70,000 square metres that comprises a general services area, three exhibition pavilions of 5,000 square metres, and an outdoor area of 7.500 square metres that is specially fitted out for shows and exhibitions. The main building boasts a 580 square-metre hall, a press room, offices for private meetings, multipurpose rooms for 125 people, a VIP Club for exhibitors, and a panoramic restaurant and coffee bar run by Chef Iñigo Lavado that can hold 500 guests. Ficoba has also an auditorium with a capacity of 392 people that is equipped with a PA system and three simultaneous translation booths. Thanks to its multipurpose design the auditorium can be used to hold cultural events, conferences and other sort of events, as well as to provide additional services to the different fairs.
