The parish church of San Sebastián de Soreasu

Cultural Heritage
In the middle of the old part of town we find the medieval parish church of San Sebastián de Soreasu. The sanctuary dates back to the age of the Templars -the tower is original from that period- but from the 16th century onwards it has been restored on several occasions. The main façade, for instance, is built in Palteresque style and was built in the 18th century following Ventura Rodríguez's design. In the interior it should be noted that the Baroque altarpiece is remarkable, as well as the baptismal font where Saint Ignatius of Loiola was christened. Likewise, the Capilla de la Soledad chapel is worth mentioning too, which hosts a Crib every Christmas since 1894.
