The prehistoric paintings in this cave prove there were humans here as early as the Bronze Age. They were discovered and studied in 1960, but it is necessary to have a special permission in order to visit the cave.
They are schematic and abstract representations painted in the inner galleries of the caves with carbon-based black-type paintings. Our ancestors decorated these walls with, among other figures, images of warriors holding bows and arrows and head dressings.
Type: cave, prehistoric paintings.
Style: prehistory, Bronze Age.
Car Park: it is necessary to leave the car in Jocano and continue on foot.
Notes: a special permit is required to visit the cave. Also, its location implies climbing an almost vertical 8-metres-high wall.
