Vitoria-Gasteiz provides a pleasant surprise to everyone who visits it for the first time, and will be the fifth reason that you will want to come back again in the future. Its splendid Historic Quarter, also known as the Medieval Almond, preserves part of its wall intact, as well as palaces, churches and interesting museums such as the Fournier Playing Cards Museum, included in the Bibat cultural complex. The jewel in the Medieval Almond's crown, however, is without a doubt the Santa Maria cathedral. By visiting this temple, you will have the chance to discover the secrets of the architectural complex of a gothic-style building, and in order to do so, you will be granted access to places that are usually closed to the public, such as the clerestory or the camino de ronda.
