Hondarribia beach is located in the beautiful Txingudi Bay, in the eastern coast of Gipuzkoa, next to the estuary of the river Bidasoa.
The 700 metre-long golden sandy beach is close to the urban area and many services are available such as hotel and catering trade services. Hondarrbia is an alternative spot for days when there are rough seas.
It is a long right-hander ideal for executing manoeuvres which breaks next to the breakwater. It provides good sessions, especially in winter. It has a unique location in the Bidasoa rivermouth. It is the only spot in the municipality of Hondarribia, one of the prettiest on the Basque coast.
The beach is also a perfect spot to practice other water sports, being canoeing and windsurfing the most remarkable ones. Besides, a structure with slides and springboards is installed in summertime.
Windsurfing, canoeing, jet skiing, recreational angling, recreational underground fishing, scuba diving.
