Euskal Okela is beef certified with the Eusko Label-Kalitatea symbol, which complies with all requirements regarding origin, health and quality defined in the technical regulations that control this product.
From animals born and raised with special care on farms in the Basque Country, controlled at all stages of their development and selected according to their quality in authorised abattoirs. Cows are fed exclusively with natural forage, supplemented with fodders especially authorised by the Fundación Kalitatea.
Euskal Okela is just sold in authorised butcher's shops and it's easily recognised through the Eusko Label-Kalitatea symbol.
