Euskal Baserri
The Euskal Baserri brand identifies fruit and vegetable products (lettuce, kiwis, pears, apples, leeks, walnuts, hazelnuts, chard, etc.) that comply with its regulations and have been produced in the Basque Country. These products must be of the Extra and First commercial categories according to the quality standards in force for fresh fruit and vegetables.
Production must be carried out using the most appropriate cultivation techniques to ensure the perfect development and fruiting of the product. No products or systems that damage the quality of the product in accordance with the established criteria may be used in cultivation.
The HAZI Foundation is responsible for the control systems to certify that products identified as Euskal Baserri meet all the requirements.
